Immigration Medicals
We are currently approved to carry out medicals for immigration to New Zealand and Saudi Arabia. To enquire about medicals for immigration to other countries such as Canada please contact the surgery.
Please call the surgery during opening times to book an appointment. Availability largely depends upon how flexible you can be with the appointment time. For groups of three or more we would recommend booking two weeks in advance in order to get a time that suits you, although last minute appointments are possible.
- Adults and children aged 5 and over are required to pass a urine sample on arrival at the surgery so please come prepared.
- Adults and children aged 11 years and over are required to have a chest x-ray as part of their medical.
- Please inform us if you are pregnant so that we can advise you about differences in the medical.
Chest X-rays can be completed before or after attending your medical although the doctor does need to see the chest x-ray before signing off your medical so please ensure that the x-ray plate and form is forwarded to us directly from the radiology clinic.
